BEAUTY
If you haven't discovered Jones Road please do so. We particularly love the miracle balm, a fantastic 'no-make-up' solution that gives you that happy, healthy and fresh glow. Some people know the story of the famous beauty founder behind Jones Road. Her names is Bobbi Brown!
Yes, THE Boobi Brown. The woman who invented the natural beauty look with a range of beige-based lipsticks, the one who pioneered make-up shades so the people with different skin colours and complexions wouldn't look like an iced cake! It was a brilliant idea that changed the beauty industry.
Bobbi eventually sold the company to Estes Lauder but her contract was so bad for her that she lost the rights to her own name along the way, but she was also in a tight 'non compete' agreement. When that lapsed (25 years on the day to her selling the first company), she launched Jones Road.
She's bold, she has courage, she's amazing. We adore her.
STYLE
Sessùn
Emma François founded Sessùn only in 2019 in Marseilles, France. Inspired by exceptional craftsmanship, quality materials, and artisan embroidery. Emma is bringing with Sessùn the opposite of fast fashion to the hughstreet.
With already 400 points of sale around the world we are excited to see people agreeing with her high quality, slow fashion philosophy. Because we all know the magical triangle: speed - price - quality. You can always only have two of those at any given time. Great prices and great quality = that's Sessùn. Check it out!
READ
Viv Groskop is a writer, comedian, podcaster and presenter. If you don't know her podcast 'How to own the room' - dive into that too. But for now, enjoy her latest book on How to be Effortlessly Confident. An easy read, with bloody good insights. Strictly speaking, that book might actually be a shortcut to success....
